Kathleen McTigue, MBA
Chief Executive Officer
As founder and CEO of speroMD, Kathleen has used her vast experience to design an industry model intended to maximize financial performance for physician practices. She is nationally recognized for more than 25 years of experience dedicated to the business of managing medical practices and also serves as the CEO of PediaTrust, LLC.
Kathleen completed her BSN at Northern Illinois University and her MBA at The University of Notre Dame.
Vickie Karras
Senior Director, Revenue Cycle
Vickie is an accomplished revenue cycle expert with more than 25 years of experience in revenue cycle management. Vickie joined speroMD from one of the country's largest revenue cycle consulting firms, where she served as an Executive Director.
Vickie holds a bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management and is also a Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) through AHIMA.
Ruby Santana
Senior Billing Manager
Ruby Santana has more than 20 years of experience in healthcare, with experience in all facets of the revenue cycle.
With extensive knowledge of the claim submission process, Ruby monitors all submissions through the clearing house, implements billing work processes, and oversees the billing staff. With first-hand experience working on the front end of the revenue cycle, Ruby is dedicated to providing customized support to each of our clients.
Jessenia Duarte
Billing Manager
Jessie Duarte joined speroMD with over 10 years of medical billing and leadership experience. She brings deep knowledge of the intricacies of medical billing to our team and takes pride in ensuring our clients’ needs are always addressed.
Jessie holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Northeastern Illinois University and is pursuing an MBA from National Louis University.
Esmeralda Galvan
Customer Service Manager
Esmeralda has 14 years of healthcare experience, managing multiple medical offices while maintaining a high level of patient satisfaction.
Her focus is developing a support system for office staff, physicians, and patients. Since joining speroMD in 2019, Esmeralda has partnered with our clients to strategically adapt workflows to improve patient satisfaction while increasing coding compliance and balance collections. She is dedicated to working with each client to achieve the highest level of customer service for the client and their patients.
