15 Sep How do you respond to positive online reviews of your practice?

Last week, we provided tips for managing your online presence related to negative reviews posted about your practice.  This week, we focus on the more positive side of your practice’s online presence!

Are you responding to positive reviews online about your practice?  If you aren’t, you should be!  If a patient took the time to go online and rave about your practice, that is someone you want to continue to have in your corner. All it takes is a simple:

“Hi Mr. Kelly! We are so happy to hear that you had a great experience at our practice! Thank you for taking the time to give us a review, we look forward to continuing to provide you with excellent care!”

This accomplishes two things:

  1. It tells the patient you care that they took the time to give you a review and that they are important to you.
  2. It shows potential patients that you take pride in the care you provide and additionally that you take the time to thank patients for their kind words. If you take the time to respond to patients online, that is fairly indicative that you take the time needed to provide patients with excellent care during an encounter as well.

 

Set aside 10 minutes every other week to hop online and see what patients are saying about you. A simple “thank you” can even convince new patients to make an appointment.
